Real Life On The Road: Surviving The Short Distance Relationship

A few weeks ago, I was having a conversation about social media. How we all create fake lives, how we all tend to misrepresent ourselves, and how the things that we post only show a tiny fraction of what is actually going on in our real life. I’ve been thinking about it for a while and it made me want to re-evaluate my own social media presence, because my pictures leave a lot to be determined. The pictures I post don’t show how hard it was for us to get to that view, they don’t show that we fought that day, they don’t show that most days I’m just waiting tables and dreaming about the next road trip, and they don’t show that the majority of my life is pretty simple.
